I wasn't sure what I was doing for this month, until Kate brought tomatoes for lunch. And photographed them. And after we fell about laughing at the things we could do with a dishtowel, and Alice's new exquisitly soft fleece and the world's cheapest Ott light (and Kate's camera and smarts) I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do for September.
Because September is a month of harvest.
My plan, and I do have one, is to haunt the farmer's markets for the month. Which should be delicious.
Clearly, I’m going to have to make some mozzarella. Then we can get some cukes, tomatoes and olives and make a huge salad. And photograph it. And make fibery things like it. And then eat the salad! Make meal ingredients into art, then eat the inspiration.
I like this idea more and more.
There could be *cake*.
